Hi all,
I had success growing squash, tomatoes and beans on my porch this year, but the squash plants I tried to grow in my yard did not do well both because there was not enough sun & because we have a rabbit overpopulation problem.
Next year I want to try growing plants that are better adapted to these conditions so that I can set up a little ecosystem back there. Does anyone have recommendations for low/medium light plants, preferably ones that rabbits don't like? ๐ We used to have a lot of red-tailed hawks in the area but I haven't seen any in years. We have some foxes/coyotes but not many because we live in an urban area.
I'd also love to try growing some low/medium light plants indoors throughout the year since I will be in a heated apartment, in which case rabbits will not be a problem. Is this a reasonable idea? I'm very new to all this.
Any advice or helpful resources are very much appreciated! <3
