I did it! I grew corn!!!!!
It's purple flour corn so it needs to dry out. I grew them in clumps, 4-5 seeds in a hole, to support each other, and hand-pollinated.
The corn was grown in the middle of my big polyculture bed.
It's also been a banner year for tomatoes, at its height we were picking huge amounts every day, maybe 4 kilos. I roasted and froze a lot and also gave a lot away, which always feels great.
