This is a traditional origami fold. Using any rectangular piece of paper and no fasteners you can can fold a container sealed enough to carry sand. I have made them from receipts, tossed them in my bag, and successfully carried sand home without spilling. They're great for seed-saving and very low footprint - all you need is scrap paper.
