I moved to Washington! Any gardens?

I recently moved from Vegas to Washington and I have yet to visit any community gardens as i'm still settling in. I'm currently in an apartment and we havn't decided if we can find a house for rent in time so it's hard for me to plan if I can continue gardening on the scale that I was so accustomed to. But the little patio has enough room for a few herbs and maybe some buckets.
I am in the Vancouver area and am blown away by the amount of foliage and flowers and moss and lichen and various things that grow abundantly! It's been so much fun exploring and getting to know the things that grow just in the apartment complex alone.

Anyone have any community gardens or locations they recommend?
