I spent hours trying find plans for a cattle panel greenhouse but rarely found anyone wrote them down. It was all YouTube videos and verbal listings. So I wanted to share my raw plans that I'm working from.
I based my plan on left over lumber on my property so these are very specific to me wanting to build this from all recycled materials I already have access to. That's why you see a lot of weird sizes. Plans can easily be altered to fit other's needs.
Also, I designed this based on last year's plague of grasshoppers that destroyed every inch of anything growing, so the bottom two feet are solid, the third foot might be screening or plastic or both. Still working that out. The wings are for ventilation that I can operate myself; without having to remove the entire plastic sheeting. We have a short growing season and our frost free days are roughly June 16 - Sept 16. Outside those dates temps can range from 70/80°F down to freezing, so constant removal and replacement of the sheeting was not ideal since I start seeds mid-March.
Here's hoping this works. I'm expecting to make adjustments as building continues and we see how our ideas pan out. 🤞
