Wingnut Honey Farm

Hello! I'm newish to permaculture, having started (and had some stops in) my journey since 2018. Life has taken some twists and turns these past 5 years but the passing of my grandma a week ago has made me realize life is too short to let "things" get in the way of what I really want to do with my life. I'm a writer and a teacher and I'm working on building up the land I bought in 2017 to be a space for creating and learning and building a permaculture community within this very traditional Midwest farming landscape in which I currently reside.

My farm name came from my girlfriend who told me to "tighten the wingnut, honey" on the extractor when I couldn't understand why honey was starting to leak everywhere on my kitchen floor. Despite that, she's decided to stick with me throughout this journey lol and I'm looking for all the feedback and help I can get as I really begin to build this space.
