Trying to find my way around the new hive. Is this group all women who have qualified? If so, is there anyone who has experience in a high mountain area (I am 3,800m above sea level) with a climate thats short season (rains for 6-8 months with hot sun, and a desertifying dry spell June to Sept).
I am about to "acquire" a plot where I want to set up greenhouses to extend the season, but its in a highly traditional Andean community where everyone is telling me it wont work. (The current land economy is corn, potatoes, beans . the 3 sisters of the Andes, and animals). So Im looking for advice / a buddy.
