How to get the most out of the 'Hive community:

Enroll in the Courses. Most of our Hive members are students and you'll get more from this space if you also join that space.
Tag every post. More tags=better user experience for everyone.
Use the Hive as a home base. Rather than posting habitually to corporate social media, consider sharing in our forums first, then pollinate the other places with your ecodesignhive post link. Use it like a blog, you can post unlimited writing, videos, images, etc.
Get in the Hive habit by allowing a small intrusion. Turn on notifications via profile settings so you don't forget about us.
Edit your profile with a real name and profile picture. Inactive, fake, and business-name profiles are periodically removed.

New to permaculture in Bellingham, Washington, USA

Hello all. I've just discovered the free online permaculture course and I'm happily working my way through it now (day 2).

In 2020 I took a stab at creating a permaculture plan as a design challenge to apply for a position with a local landscape company (Pacific N.W. corner of Washington State, USA). See the attached image below.

I'm a graphic designer and I used Adobe Illustrator to create my design. I did not get an interview/was rejected, but the plan I created has stayed with me/lived in my dreams for my own property build some day. I have no idea if my permaculture plan makes any real sense or not, but in an abstract sense, it fills with me with excitement to think about it. Would love feedback and to hear anyone's thoughts!
